Broadway Tap

Saturday, August 12: 11am-1pm

Ages 8-18
Location: Strand Center Theatre

Enjoy musical theatre? Love to tap dance? Bring the two together in this workshop! Students will learn a short rountine focusing on character, presentation, and musicality. Some tap experience recommended, but you don't have to be a pro! Please bring your own tap shoes. Parents are invited to watch the last 10 minutes of class.

A. R. T. Musical Theatre Camp

Monday to Friday, July 17-28: 9am-12pm
Instructor: A. R. T. Instructors including Pam & Tom Lavin and Emily Allen
Ages 8-18
Location: Strand Center Theatre

Disney's Cinderella KIDS

Act, sing, and dance! Experience the excitement of live theatre on stage. Adirondack Regional Theatre’s instructors will work with students on the triple threat of Broadway (dancing, singing, and acting). Develop movement and rhythm skills, gain self-confidence, and improve teamwork and language skills through script and choral reading. The session concludes with a performance on the stage of the historic Strand Center Theatre on July 28, 2017 at 6pm for your family and friends.

$250 per student | Camp is limited to 30 student

Camp Spotlight!

Monday to Friday, July 31-August 11: 12pm-3pm
Instructor: Susan Richards
Ages 5-18
Location: Strand Center Theatre

Love to sing? It’s your time in the spotlight! Students will learn and polish the essential skills of vocal performance in this 2 week camp. Sing and perform as a group and soloists to spotlight your individual talents. A recital with costumes will be performed on August 11, 2017 at 6pm on the historic Strand Center Theatre stage for family and friends!

Young Actor's Improv

Saturday, August 5: 11am-1pm
Instructor: Mallory Valk
Ages 9-16
Location: Strand Center Theatre

Think on your toes! This class will keep students thinking creatively and reacting to their fellow actors. Through the use of improv games, teamwork and quick responses will guide students in developing a skill vital to any actor: improvisation.
