Location: Strand Center Fiber Arts Studio

In this class, we’ll discuss the creative possibilities double weave can open up for your weaving enjoyment on a 4 shaft/harness loom. This may be weaving a tube, doubling your fabric width, or maybe even sections to stuff. There are endless possibilities! Tuesday, January 9 will be a meeting to talk about and choose a double weave project for each student and determine materials needed. (Students will be responsible for providing own yarns.) Two weeks later, classes will delve into the projects selected. This two-week time will give students the opportunity to order yarns if needed.

*Students should be comfortable prior to class measuring warp on a warping board and dressing a 4 shaft/harness loom.
