In November 2012, the NCCCA presented photographer, Pat Duniho and The North Country Potter’s Guild in its Main Gallery. The exhibition combined local photography and ceramics for a diverse show that explored nature, shape, form and color.
Pat Duniho is an Art Teacher at Plattsburgh High School teaching photography, ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture. The bulk of his own creative expression has been devoted to the medium of photography, which is influenced by his early career as a graphic designer and his desire to communicate a clear message to the viewer.
The North Country Potter’s Guild is a group of potters working together for over a decade, who take part and host a variety of events throughout the year. Brought together by core values, their mission involves educating the community, “in all matters of clay.”
The Opening Reception took place on November 2nd in the Main Gallery and the exhibition was on display through December 1st.
