“At the heart of my practice is a commitment to redefining sculpture through fiber, sustainability, and ecological awareness. While grounded in traditional textile techniques, my work moves beyond conventional distinctions between craft and sculpture, engaging organic form, spatial presence, and immersive experience. I draw inspiration from natural systems—growth, accumulation, erosion, and regeneration—and translate these processes into tactile, abstract sculptural environments.

I am interested in the balance between softness and structure, reflecting the complex relationship between human intervention and nature’s resilience. Through texture, vibrant color, and shape, my work challenges the prevailing currents of consumerism and invites viewers to reimagine the role of art in society, positioning my sculptures not just as objects of beauty but as catalysts for cultural transformation and sustainable thinking.

Material choice is central to my practice. I use plant-based fibers, recycled textiles, and upcycled materials, explicitly rejecting animal-derived sources, reflecting my opposition to animal cruelty and commitment to ecological responsibility. Every material is selected with care, ensuring that the work minimizes harm and respects the environment.

My process is slow, labor-intensive, and grounded in repetition. Techniques such as layering, stitching, binding, and accumulation shape surfaces that respond to touch, light, and time, allowing form to evolve in dialogue with material history. By working with fiber—a medium historically associated with domestic craft—I expand sculptural vocabulary to include softness, tactility, vibrant color, and ethical concern, fostering an embodied experience that resonates with ecological consciousness and formal innovation.”
