OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS

  • Summer Camps

Every summer Strand Center for the Arts is proud to offer dozens of summer camps for youth of all ages and interests.

We’re thrilled to offer full-day (9am-4pm) camps: ART CAMP! We have 2 options available this summer. These camps are in addition to the dozens of partial-day camps our community has enjoyed the past several years. Check out the full schedule and see what camp(s) works best for your family’s schedule.

  • Kids Art Night

Art! Games! Pizza! Kids Art Night is a monthly event just for kids. Drop your kiddos (ages 5-12) off for a night of art fun in our Visual Arts Studio! Students will experience a variety of art styles and mediums.

  • Art Club

In this 10-week course, students will learn about art through a variety of different mediums, techniques, and perspectives. Through this afterschool program students will engage with one another and the community through artistic collaboration. By the end of this course, students will have the start of their own portfolio to begin their creative journey with confidence!

  • ART/WORK

ART/WORK: Worthwhile Opportunities through Resources & Knowledge is a 12 session visual arts program for youth in grades 3rd-8th in Clinton County entering it’s second year. The program is free to the students.

Throughout the program students will be working with professional Teaching Artists that are established in their field and can serve in a mentor role and source of inspiration to the participating students. Art experiences may include drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber art, digital art, collage, and more!
