Educational classes & camps are offered for individuals of all ages and in a variety of disciplines including music, dance, drawing & painting, ceramics, photography, fiber arts & more. Adaptive classes for students of all abilities are offered in both the Strand Arts Center and Theatre with certified special education teachers.

Celebrating Juneteenth (2023)
The Strand Center for the Arts celebrates Juneteenth with live performances by Dawn Tyler Watson, Sooner Than Before, East Cali, and many more.
Completely Stranded: 2-Hour Detention (2023)
Plattsburgh’s premiere improv comedy troupe Completely Stranded returns to the Strand Center’s Theatre to serve up class-clown comedy for their 2-Hour Detention.
Kashmir (2023)
Kashmir, the nation’s #1 Led Zeppelin tribute show, rocks the Strand Center’s Historic Theatre.
Mr. Sipp and friends jam for the audience at a Summer 2021 community fundraiser in partnership with local presenter Plattsburgh Blues & Jazz.
Local and award wining musician, Dave Keller, entertains at the 2021 “Jumpin’ in July Community Concert Series” — an annual, free family-friendly concert program.
